We strive to get your order to you as quickly and reliably as possible. Below are the details of our shipping process, rates, and important information you should know before placing an order.
Processing Time
- Orders are typically processed and handed to the carrier within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM (PST) will be processed the following business day.
- Pre-order or made-to-order items have longer processing times, which will be clearly stated on the product page.
Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Business days do not include weekends or public holidays.
Shipping Rates
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and delivery address.
- Free standard shipping is offered on orders over $3000 CAD (where applicable — within Canada).
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can track your package directly through the carrier’s website.
Shipping Restrictions
- We do not ship to PO Boxes for certain carriers or oversized items.
- Some remote areas or regions may experience longer delivery times or additional surcharges.
Holiday Season Shipping
During the busy holiday period (Black Friday through New Year’s), shipping carriers experience extremely high volumes and occasional weather disruptions. Please expect the following:
- Increased processing times: Up to 3–7 business days during peak periods.
- Potential carrier delays: Standard shipping may take 10–20+ business days, even with expedited options.
These are estimates only. We strongly recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or severe weather during the holiday season.
Lost or Delayed Packages
- If your order hasn’t arrived within 10 business days of the estimated delivery window, please contact us at ideahomeproducts@gmail.com with your order number.
- We are not liable for packages lost or delayed by the carrier once proof of delivery or shipment is provided. Please get in touch with the courier directly regarding lost or delayed package claims.
Additional Notes
In cases of missing or damaged parts during shipment, please reach out to our customer service team for a replacement. Please note that delivery freight is included in the quotation, but return freight is not. Additionally, if your order includes multiple items and some arrive separately, don’t worry—your order may ship from different warehouses, and the remaining items will arrive shortly.
